Frame: It is in fine condition and is in its original frame and mount with an arched top
Details: A Manchester artist and brother of the illustrator Frederick Holding, he specialised in marine painting and landscape.
This charming and beautifully painted watercolour of an unidentified young girl holding a post of flowers departs from his usual subjects.
It is signed in full and dated 1856.
It is in fine condition and is in its original frame and mount with an arched top.
It is glazed.
