Details: An imposing portrait of a distinguished Napoleonic officer and subsequent general in King Louis XVIII restoration army, Louis Joseph Nompar de Caumont was Commandant at Montrauban at the time of the portrait.
His descendant, the 14th Duc, now lives in Portugal and has extensive wine interests.
